50G

SFP56 stands for Small Form-Factor Pluggable 56. It is the fourth generation of the SFP interconnect systems designed for 50G performance per the IEEE 802.3cd specification (50GBASE-CR). The SFP56 is an enhanced version of SFP28, but is designed for 50G signal transmission.
